Sydney Learning Adventures offers students the opportunity to explore the history and culture of Chinese people with its range of engaging educational tours in the Chinese Garden of Friendship. Teachers booking programs receive a full-colour resource pack, which includes pre- and post-excursion activities and background information regarding the excursion content.

Chinese whispers
Curriculum links: Years 3-6 HSIE/English
Students will explore the contribution of Chinese Australians in developing Australian heritage and identity, as they wander through Chinatown. They will find clues, solve riddles, and meet challenges as they take a journey through the Chinese Garden to learn the legend of Chinese horoscopes.
Cost: $14 per student (includes entry to the Chinese Garden of Friendship)

Red and gold: making a multi-cultural Australia
Curriculum link: Years 7-10 Geography/History
By examining the history of Chinese immigration to Australia, and observing the impact this has had on the communities of the past and present, students can gain a more holistic understanding of what makes Australia the multi-cultural country it is today.
Cost: $14 per student (includes entry to the Chinese Garden of Friendship)
